Strawberry Margarita Recipe
Unlike the blue margarita or the frozen margarita, the strawberry margarita has a fruity tangy taste to it. It’s a favourite in many light get-togethers and makes a wonderful drink if you are a fan of the strawberry magic. A refreshing change from the usual strawberry delights such as a strawberry milkshake or a simple ice cream, blending strawberries with tequila or a beer is different and exotic. The tangy sweet taste of the strawberries blends so well with the base drink used that it almost appears as though the drink was one great miracle. Making the drink too is no big deal. All it takes is five minutes to blend in all the ingredients and serve.
Ingredients
• Half a cup of strawberry puree
•
• Two cups of ice preferably crushed
•
• One cup tequila
•
• One cup of lime juice
•
• Lime cut into wedges
•
• Glassware: Margarita glass
•
• Splash triple sec
•
• Sugar syrup
•
Preparation
Mix the contents in a blender. If the ice has already been crushed separately, you can use a cocktail mixer to mix the ingredients. Pour the contents into the margarita glasses and serve chilled. Avoid lining the rim of the glass with salt as it does not blend well with the taste of the drink.
