Cadillac Margarita Recipe
The Cadillac Margarita contains the potent tequila Cuervo 1800 which is a well know brand of tequila. The tequila is a liqueur which is made by distilling and fermenting the sap or the aquameil of the agave plant. This was started in a town called Tequila from which it gets its name. The liquor has a rich and deep flavor which enhances the taste of any drink which it is added to. The ingredients required for this cocktail are lime juice, Grand Marnier and the tequila Cuero 1800.
Quantities of the ingredients required to make a couple of drinks are:
2 ounces of lime juice
½ ounce of Grand Marnier
2 ounces of Tequila Cuervo 1800
These exotic ingredients will only show up in their true beauty and form if they are served in the Margarita glass. This drink should be accompanied by chorizo skewers and seared salmon to bring out its true taste. Grand Marnier balances the tastes of the other ingredients which are put into it.
The nutrients in this drink are mainly energy and calories but there is no cholesterol or fat content in it.
The method for making this drink
The glasses for the margarita have to be prepared by dampening the rims with a wedge of lime and dipped in coarse salt. Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shake and mix them along with the ice. This strained chilled drink should be poured into the glasses and garnished with a wheel of lime.
