Brandy Margarita Recipe
One of the main ingredients in this Brandy margarita is Cointreau, which is made of bitter oranges from Haiti, Saint Raphael, Brazil and Spain usually. This Triple Sec liqueur is made in France where the best liqueurs come from. Cointreau gives this cocktail a taste which is both sweet and a bit sour too and makes it a very refreshing drink. This cocktail should always be served in the original glass.
The ingredients required for this exclusive blend are Cointreau, water, limeade concentrate which is frozen, Brandy of the E & J VSOP type and Cuervo tequila which is of the gold kind.
The quantity of ingredients required to make a pitcher of this cocktail
Coarse salt for the glass rim
3 ½ ounces of Cointreau
3 limeade cans of water (for measurement)
16 ounces of frozen canned limeade concentrate
3 ounces of the E & J VSOP Brandy
9 ounces of Tequila of the Cuervo Gold kind
Method to make the Brandy Margarita
The ingredients can either be mixed thoroughly and poured over ice which has been put into the original Cointreau glasses or put into a blender along with the ice for a frozen popular top shelf drink. The margarita glasses should be prepared with the rims dampened and dipped in the coarse salt and the margarita should be strained into these glasses. Garnishing the glass with a slice of lime makes it look even more appetizing.
