Blue Lagoon Margarita Recipe
The Blue Lagoon Margarita has an ingredient called Blue Curacao which is a liqueur which gets its flavor from the dried laraha fruit peels. This is a fruit similar to the orange fruit and grows in Curacao. The liqueur has an orange flavor with a tinge of bitterness to it, though it is a colorless liquid, color is added to it to make the cocktails look more exotic. Most often the color blue is added to it. Curacaos also has rum raisin, chocolate and coffee flavors.
The ingredients required for this exotic flavored drink are pineapple juice, lemon soda, lime juice, blue Curacao and tequila.
Quantities of the ingredients required to make this exotic blue drink are:
1 ounce of pine apple juice
A dash of lime juice
1 ounce of Blue Curacao
1 ounce of Tequila
A dash of lemon lime soda
Method of making the Blue Lagoon Margarita
Fill the cocktail shaker up to half level with ice cubes then top it up with the lime juice of Rose make, the 7-UP, Blue Curacao and the Tequila. Add the pineapple juice according to taste and give it a good vigorous shake. This mixture should be strained into tall glasses which are filled up to a quarter level with ice cubes and served.
The pineapple juice and laraha fruit peels which are very similar to oranges, give the drink a lot of goodness of fruits.
